About the position

The Senior Developer at CLA is responsible for developing web-based solutions that align with business goals. This role requires advanced knowledge of JAVA and front-end frameworks like React and Angular, along with experience in containerization and cloud environments. The Senior Developer will lead technical teams, perform unit testing, and document solutions, ensuring high-quality application development and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify complex computer programs.
• Lead technical teams to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems.
• Perform unit testing and assist in defining test plans with BA/QA.
• Create or update code level documentation.
• Provide time estimates for project tasks and define project tasks.
• Complete project work within agreed upon deadlines.

Requirements

• 3 years of application development and support experience on multiple projects or applications.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Expertise with frontend and/or backend Java, JavaScript, React, and microservices.
• Experience with JIRA application development (Plugins and UI).
• Experience working with containers (Docker).
• Experience with public cloud environments such as Azure.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, mySQL, or mongoDb.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
