About the position

The Senior Developer at CLA is responsible for developing web-based solutions that align with business goals. This role requires advanced knowledge of JAVA and front-end frameworks like React and Angular, along with experience in containerization and cloud environments. The Senior Developer will lead technical teams, perform testing and documentation, and manage project tasks to ensure timely completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify complex computer programs.
• Lead technical teams to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems.
• Perform unit testing and assist in defining test plans with BA/QA.
• Aid in application maintenance, debugging, and upgrades.
• Create or update code level documentation.
• Provide time estimates for project tasks and define project tasks.
• Complete project work within agreed upon deadlines.

Requirements

• 3 years of application development and support experience on multiple projects or applications.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• Expertise with frontend and/or backend Java, JavaScript, React, and microservices.
• Experience with development for JIRA application (Plugins and UI).
• Experience working with containers (Docker).
• Experience with public cloud environments such as Azure.
• Experience using SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, mySQL, or mongoDb.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
