About The Position

CLA is currently seeking a Senior Developer to join our growing Data Team. The Senior Application Developer is responsible for developing solutions that support business goals, with a focus on web-based frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery). Candidates must have an advanced knowledge of the JAVA programming language, knowledge in front end JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular, and experience with using containerization in development. The Senior Developer possesses outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills along with strong communication skills.

Requirements

• 3 years of application development and support working as a team member on multiple projects or applications.
• Bachelor's Degree or experience acceptable in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• Expertise with Full Stack Development; JavaScript, React and Node.JS.
• Experience with the development for JIRA application (Plugins and UI).
• Experience working with containers (Docker).
• Experience working with public cloud environments such as Azure.
• Experience using SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, mySQL or mongoDb.
• Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner to all audiences.
• Comfortable in a collaborative, agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify computer programs of high complexity and risk.
• Lead technical teams of developers to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems.
• Perform unit testing and assist the BA/QA in defining test plans.
• Perform coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions.
• Aid in application maintenance, debugging, and upgrades.
• Create or update code level documentation.
• Lead in providing time estimates for project tasks and defining project tasks.
• Complete project work within agreed upon deadlines.
