About the position

Optimum Media is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join our innovative team. As part of our Salesforce ecosystem, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development and optimization of our Salesforce applications. This position requires a tech-savvy, data-driven, and client-focused individual who is solutions-oriented. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce applications using various technologies including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Customizing Salesforce to meet project specifications will be a key part of your responsibilities, which includes creating custom objects, workflows, validation rules, triggers, and flows. You will also integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), MuleSoft, JSON, and platform events. Data migration and ensuring data integrity using tools like DataLoader will be essential tasks. Additionally, you will develop and maintain documentation for custom development, integrations, and design patterns. Providing ongoing support and enhancements for existing Salesforce applications is expected, along with utilizing VSCode for development and Bitbucket for version control, adhering to CI/CD best practices. You will implement email alerts, custom settings, and custom metadata types as needed, and work with BI tools like DOMO for data analysis and reporting. Following agile methodology and utilizing project management tools like Jira or ClickUp will be part of your daily activities. You will manage changesets and ensure proper deployment processes while staying current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices to ensure optimal use of the platform.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce development.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, Aura Components, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, including SOAP and REST APIs, and tools like MuleSoft.
• Knowledge of Salesforce declarative tools such as Flows and Lightning App Builder.
• Proficiency in Salesforce data modeling and data management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce.
• Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience with tools like DOMO, Mulesoft, OMS (Boostr, Operative) is a plus.
