About the position
Visionist has exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunities for Application Developers of all levels. You will provide reverse engineering, low-level embedded software development, test engineering, and front-end support to advance a critical mission. For over 13 years, Visionist has been solving the Intelligence Community's toughest software and analysis challenges. We embed small engineering teams with analysts to rapidly identify and solve mission capability gaps playing a critical role in defending our nation's cyber infrastructure & providing expertise in malware analysis, attribution, mapping adversarial infrastructure, pen testing, and operational planning. Responsibilities
- Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of development alternatives
- Develop software applications in C, C++, or Java
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions within an Agile development environment
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in software/system development
- Experience with C#/.NET or Java development on Windows
- Experience in object-oriented programming, development patterns, unit testing and design
- Experience with code repositories and code review practices
- Experience with XML and JSON, as well as web development experience with REST, ASP.NET, JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, etc.
