The Senior Application Developer at Musco will work closely with assigned business areas to provide essential information and software tools that support business objectives. This role involves software development, reporting, and ongoing maintenance, requiring a comprehensive understanding of business needs and high-level programming skills. The position also entails leading projects while fulfilling programming requirements, making it ideal for solutions-focused and detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze information requirements and determine an action plan
• Write, test, and debug computer software
• Access and report data as necessary
• Assist in the development of project schedules
• Execute project schedules
• Ensure installed software systems are properly maintained
• Provide timely end-user support as needed
• Mentor other developers in a Team environment

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science-related field, Engineering field, and/or commensurate experience
• 6+ years of software development experience in a work environment and/or demonstrated aptitude
• Proficient in computer programming languages and development of software
• Experience with .NET Frameworks- C#, VB, JavaScript, and HTML; experience with Blazor is a plus
• Skilled in developing REST endpoints and APIs
• Experience and willingness to work with legacy systems and code
• Hands-on experience working end-to-end
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with self-directedness, while working within a Team
• Capable of working with data and information in a confidential manner
