About the position

The Senior Application Engineer will play a crucial role in a Washington, DC based startup's federal software engineering team. This growth position focuses on developing backend solutions and building APIs for a product aimed at open-source intelligence scanning and corporate risk management, requiring a strong background in software development and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Code backend solutions for the application.
• Build and maintain APIs for integration with federal clients' systems.
• Design and maintain ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure security protocols are followed in classified environments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Software Development using Java.
• Experience working within classified environments and understanding security protocols.
• Experience with ETL pipeline design and maintenance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Top Secret SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance.
