About The Position

This position is for an experienced semiconductor memory test System Application Engineer, tasked with providing application solutions and technical leadership to leading-edge semiconductor customers on the Advantest memory system level test (SLT) platform. As a member of our dynamic team, you will engage with cutting-edge technology, supporting key customers in the rapidly growing memory and SSD industry, particularly in protocol application-related areas. Your role will involve leading complex customer technical projects, which include benchmark and pre/post-sales activities. In this role, you will work closely with both internal peers and customer engineers to develop tailored memory System Level Test (SLT) solutions. The successful candidate will be self-driven and highly motivated, possessing a strong blend of technical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You will need to be adept at setting and adjusting task priorities based on rapidly changing customer needs, defining task closure strategies, and guiding customer engineers on best practices while executing in a collaborative team environment. Your responsibilities will include providing test solutions on Advantest's memory SLT test platform utilizing various protocols such as PCIe NVMe and UFS. You will promote new solutions and run benchmarks on the SLT test system. Additionally, you will integrate Advantest products and services at the system and solutions level into the customer's environment. Collaboration with the worldwide SLT Applications team, R&D, Sales and Marketing, and manufacturing teams will be essential. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering customer training, technical presentations, and workshops. Furthermore, you will provide technical expertise and analysis to help debug, reproduce, narrow down, and resolve customer issues, as well as collect, evaluate, and provide customer requirements for consideration in product improvements and new product developments.
