About the position

The Senior Application Software Engineer (Core Systems) role involves designing, building, testing, and maintaining scalable technology solutions to meet business needs. This position serves as a subject matter expert for application software developers and engineers, contributing to the entire implementation process and driving improvements based on business requirements and architectural enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable and stable off-the-shelf applications or custom-built technology solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers.
• Contribute to the entire implementation process, including defining improvements based on business needs.
• Meet with business partners to understand their needs and requirements.
• Responsible for the overall design of the solution.
• Conduct root cause analysis and advanced performance tuning for complex business processes and functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of related experience in software engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, specifically Node.JS, Angular, or React.
• Strong working knowledge of Microservice Architectures, web services, and JSON.
• Healthcare experience is strongly preferred, with a demonstrated understanding of business processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kafka, Mongo DB, SQL, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Git.
