About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Applications Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating assigned enterprise applications. This role requires a deep understanding of the organization's software systems, and the ability to ensure their optimal functionality and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of assigned enterprise applications to ensure seamless performance.
  • Regularly update and enhance applications to align with business needs, incorporating new features or improvements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for new features or applications.
  • Engage with third-party vendors for additional support, troubleshooting, and resolution of application issues.
  • Actively engage with team members and stakeholders to share expertise, troubleshoot issues, and further the adoption and effective use of enterprise tools across the organization.
  • Provide timely and effective technical support for application issues, working to resolve incidents and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, updates, troubleshooting steps, and business processes.
  • Assist in the development of training materials and conduct sessions to ensure effective utilization of the tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications in information technology also a plus.
  • At least five years of related experience.
  • Proven experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level applications.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering and working directly with business stakeholders to define technical needs.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors to manage support and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business users.
  • Passionate about knowledge sharing and driving tool adoption within the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining clear, accurate documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of OpenText and/or SharePoint/SharePoint Online is preferred but not required.
