About the position

PDS is seeking a highly skilled Signals Engineer with a strong background in Radio Frequency (RF) and C++ programming. This position requires a Top Secret Clearance and a full scope polygraph. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of RF systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within RF processing systems. The role involves working with advanced technologies and methodologies, including Kubernetes, Python, and CI/CD pipelines, to develop and enhance RF signal processing applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying their expertise in RF communications theory, digital modulation, and error control coding to analyze and improve signal processing systems. They will utilize tools such as WVT and DVT for signals analysis and will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in digital signal processing techniques, including adaptive beamforming and filtering. This position offers a competitive salary range of $225,000 to $250,000 per year, reflecting the level of expertise and experience required for the role. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance RF signal processing applications using C++ and Python.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 4 or more years of experience as a Software Signals Engineer (SSWE) with a focus on RF.
  • Proficiency in C++ programming.
  • Experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, and communications theory.
  • Familiarity with digital modulation and error control coding.
  • Experience with signals analysis tools such as WVT and DVT.
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing techniques, including adaptive beamforming and filtering.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Python 3.0.
  • Familiarity with GIT version control system.
  • Experience with Sprint Development methodologies.
