About the position

The Senior Applications Engineer at Photronics Inc. is responsible for providing technical support throughout the product lifecycle, from pre-sales to post-sales. This role involves collaborating with sales and manufacturing teams, interpreting design and application information, and ensuring compliance with product specifications. The engineer will also develop CAD software and scripting methods to enhance production processes, while educating customers on data preparation and manufacturing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in a pre-sales through post-sales capacity, including product assessment and service requests.
• Offer technical support to sales, manufacturing staff, and customers for various product types.
• Present and interpret design, application, and service information.
• Coordinate product specifications and manufacturing instructions for specific customers and products.
• Assist in coordinating application aspects of orders transferred within the company.
• Define procedures and document reference packages for compliance with specifications.
• Prepare reference materials to educate customers on data preparation and inspection techniques.
• Develop and apply CAD software and scripting methods for production enhancements.
• Perform other related duties or special projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 - 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Mastery level knowledge in all aspects of cybermask, including writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and designing tests.
