About the position

The Senior Applications Engineer at Pegasystems plays a crucial role in designing and developing application solutions using the Pega Infinity platform and other integration technologies. This position involves working with a highly engaged team to solve client challenges through innovative application software development, while also focusing on continuous improvement and proactive integration health monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Work in integration design, implementation, and support in Pega Infinity platform and other integration technologies (e.g. SAP Integration Suite).
• Adapt and learn new technologies to support integration needs of the business.
• Engage in initiatives and continuous improvement processes around proactive application integration health monitoring, reporting, and technical support.
• Own initiatives from start to finish, demonstrating leadership potential.
• Collaborate with team members and guide them in problem-solving and application development.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of Application Software development experience, preferably in a product development company.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer applications or related field.
• Strong understanding of Application Software engineering concepts and practices.
• Prior experience with enterprise systems including CRM, Industry applications, ERP and their corresponding business domain knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of and practical experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology and the entire Application Software development process.
• Practical knowledge of Application Software design patterns.
• Experience working with Architects, Tech Leads and Product Owners to understand challenges and provide innovative solutions.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred experience developing integrations using APIs.
• Pega 7.x/8.x experience/certification is a plus.
