As part of NVIDIA's applied LLM chip design team, this role focuses on developing and optimizing algorithms for enterprise data to create advanced AI applications that transform chip design. The position involves driving innovation through the design and deployment of LLM-powered solutions, engaging with cutting-edge technologies, and maintaining high-quality engineering practices within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize retrieval and generation algorithms for enterprise data (text, code, and images) to build advanced AI applications that transform chip design.
• Design and deploy LLM-powered solutions for engineering assistants and multi-turn, multi-modal dialogue systems.
• Leverage AI technologies to solve complex problems in chip design, driving innovation and meaningful impact across the industry.
• Engage with the latest advancements in machine learning and AI to create state-of-the-art solutions.
• Maintain high-quality engineering practices that inspire others to achieve excellence.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of proven industry experience.
• Proficiency in rapid prototyping using languages like Python and C++, with strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with training and fine-tuning large language models, advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, vector databases and agentic frameworks.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to thrive in dynamic, product-focused, and distributed teams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge as needed to achieve results.
