About the position

The Senior Acquisition Program Manager will oversee and manage complex technical projects within the Department of Defense (DoD) framework, focusing on research and development efforts that address unique military challenges. This role requires extensive experience in military operations, program management, and advanced research techniques to ensure the successful transition of programs to operational use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, development, and execution of technical projects related to military operations.
• Conduct research studies that combine operational expertise with advanced technology approaches.
• Assess military effectiveness and engineering viability of programs.
• Manage program transition efforts to ensure successful implementation of projects.
• Utilize advanced techniques and practices in technological programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in any discipline with management training courses.
• 15 years of experience in active duty military service, support Contractor, or DoD civilian roles in warfare specialties.
• Demonstrated skill in conceiving, planning, and conducting research studies.
• Experience in using advanced techniques and theories in technological programs.
• Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Master of Science with Management Training Courses.
