About the position

The Senior Architect or Design Architect position is a long-term contract role based in Tyson, Virginia, offering a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on hands-on design and development, particularly in the context of integrating existing APIs and product designs with new solutions. The architect will be responsible for conducting gap analyses and designing solutions for development and integrations, leveraging a variety of modern technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work on proof of concepts (POC) to understand existing APIs and product designs.
• Perform gap analysis for integrating with new and other products.
• Design solutions for development and integrations required.
• Utilize integration technologies and REST API development in projects.
• Implement microservices technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.

Requirements

• Senior architect with hands-on design and development capabilities.
• Experience with integration technologies and REST API development.
• Proficiency in Kafka, AWS/Azure, and microservices technologies.
• Strong understanding of digital experience and transformations.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Google Freewheel and streaming services.
• Knowledge of US broadcasting operations.
• Familiarity with low code UI frameworks such as Blazer with Telerik or Sync Fusion.
• Experience with Gen AI tools like Lama and Copilot.
• Knowledge of data analytics and presentation layer coding.
• Familiarity with ML tools and ETL tools.
• Understanding of linear broadcast advertising or digital advertising.
