About the position

Andalusia Design is an innovative architectural ceilings and walls manufacturer that is disrupting the commercial specialty market by delivering novel, high-design architectural systems to the design community. The company achieves this by combining advanced front-end parametric tools with on-site digital fabrication capabilities. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Designer who possesses a strong design sensibility and technical expertise, particularly in parametrically designed systems. This role is crucial for modeling our innovative architectural product solutions using Rhino and Grasshopper, while collaborating closely with architects and designers across various design platforms. The Senior Architectural Designer will be responsible for collaborating with architects and designers to create and model both standard and customized architectural solutions. This will involve working across multiple design and rendering platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and V-Ray to ensure seamless integration of designs into architectural client project workflows. The successful candidate will provide design expertise and guidance to ensure that all solutions balance aesthetic quality with technical precision. Additionally, the designer will manage project timelines and deliverables from the specification stage through to project completion and follow-up, maintaining regular communication with clients. In this role, the designer will lead the creation of detailed technical documentation and manage project deliverables. Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be essential to translate design ideas into actionable solutions. The designer will also be responsible for developing and maintaining trusted, long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Managing client and project information using MS Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, and Miro will also be part of the responsibilities. The ability to balance multiple projects while proactively communicating with all parties involved is crucial for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects and designers to create and model both standard and customized architectural solutions using Rhino/Grasshopper.

• Lead the creation of detailed technical documentation and manage project deliverables.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to translate design ideas into actionable solutions.
• Develop and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
• Manage client and project information in MS Dynamics CRM, SharePoint and Miro.
• Balance multiple projects and proactively communicate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a closely related field that provides a strong foundation in technical design principles.
• 5+ years of architectural design experience, with a strong focus on parametric design, product modeling, and fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Dynamo, Enscape, V-Ray, and other industry-standard platforms.
• Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and installation methodologies for architectural products preferred.
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to conceptualize innovative solutions while maintaining technical feasibility.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
