As a Senior Area Sales Manager (ASM) at GE Appliances, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales activities within assigned contract and builder accounts in the Fort Myers/Naples area. This position is focused on both Multi-Family and Single-Family National business, where you will manage all aspects of the customer experience, ensuring quality and consistency in product delivery. Your primary responsibility will be to sell and promote appliances to new and existing customers, builders, developers, and authorized distributors within this market. You will execute and deliver on all sales and margin operating plan goals, identifying new business opportunities and developing marketing strategies to grow the territory while being mindful of potential channel conflicts. In this role, you will build strong customer relationships through solution selling and effectively resolve any issues that arise. You will analyze market trends and sales strategies, assess the competitive landscape, and determine opportunities for growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and conducting sales training, performing necessary administrative functions to meet deadlines, and utilizing your cold calling skills to convert prospective accounts into purchasing clients. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and a commitment to achieving results in a dynamic environment.
