About the position
The Senior Art Director at Disney's Yellow Shoes will be responsible for creating innovative and impactful creative content for Disney Experiences. This role focuses on developing compelling advertising campaigns across digital and social channels, while also mentoring junior creatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in photography, typography, and layout, and will be adept at collaborating with various teams to deliver award-winning campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Craft innovative content for all digital and social channels associated with the Disney Parks and Resorts group.
- Mentor junior creatives in the team.
- Show problem-solving skills and creative thinking for a range of advertising mediums.
- Partner with Copywriters, Designers, and Strategists to deliver compelling, 360 campaign concepts.
- Interpret creative briefs and act upon client feedback while keeping projects on schedule and meeting deadlines.
- Deliver polished and well-designed creative elements for internal and external presentations.
- Give direction to photographers, designers, directors, editors, and other vendors related to the creative output.
- Construct cohesive creative presentations and maintain comfort with internal client presentations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience developing 360 advertising campaigns.
- Outstanding presentation skills with confidence and passion when sharing ideas internally.
- Proficiency in ideating in the digital and social space.
- Strong time management skills and ability to balance multiple assignments.
- Self-management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Proficiency in presentation software including PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides.
- Strong eye for design, typography, and photography with attention to detail.
- Knowledge and genuine curiosity about the Walt Disney Company's history.
Nice-to-haves
- Minimum of 5 years in an agency setting or related experience.
- Experience in After Effects, 3D, and editing software.
