About the position

The Senior Art Director position at TEKsystems involves leading creative projects for an enterprise client in the animal industry. This role requires a blend of traditional and digital design skills, with a focus on collaboration and quality control. The ideal candidate will thrive in an agency environment, demonstrating autonomy while also working effectively with various teams to deliver compelling creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute traditional and digital communications with excellent design capabilities.
• Exercise quality control of design recommendations and executions.
• Operate with a degree of autonomy by receiving project assignments and completing them on time.
• Collaborate effectively with Account Managers, Strategy team partners, fellow creatives, internal and external teams, clients, and vendor partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a design emphasis preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience working as an Art Director or in a similar creative role.
• Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma for both digital and print design.
• Strong understanding of designing for traditional and digital channels, including social media, ecommerce, and digital advertising.
• Ability to contribute to brainstorming and general problem solving.
• Strong typography skills.
• Basic motion design skills, including After Effects and animated GIFs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with After Effects is a plus.
• Ability to operate with a level of autonomy and meet deadlines.
