About the position

The Senior Art Director (SAD) at EVERSANA INTOUCH is a pivotal role within the creative team, responsible for leading the concepting and design development across a variety of projects tailored for the pharmaceutical marketing sector. This position requires a strong foundation in marketing and advertising principles to ensure that all creative outputs not only meet but exceed client expectations while adhering to brand standards and timelines. The SAD will actively engage in presenting and defending their work to both internal teams and clients, showcasing their ability to communicate effectively and persuasively. In this role, the SAD will leverage their extensive experience to create compelling visual communications that distill complex medical information into clear and engaging formats. They will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and other creative leads to ensure that all projects are executed with a high level of creativity and strategic insight. The SAD is expected to be a proactive team member, seeking out opportunities for new business and contributing to internal initiatives that enhance the agency's offerings. The ideal candidate will possess strong conceptual skills and a mastery of the pharmaceutical regulatory processes, allowing them to navigate the complexities of healthcare communications effectively. They will also be a mentor to junior team members, demonstrating attention to detail and sharing their expertise across various channels. The SAD will be a trusted partner within the creative team, fostering strong relationships across departments and contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for concepting and art/design development for a range of projects.
  • Own concept and design across all types of communication (digital, print, video, etc.).
  • Assist creative leads on projects, helping to pull creative concepts and themes through tactics.
  • Proactively collaborate with subject matter experts and internal/external teams.
  • Present and defend work to internal and external teams.
  • Master pharmaceutical regulatory processes and work within these confines.
  • Distill complex medical information into clear, compelling visual communications.
  • Manage file-building and best practices according to The One Intouch Process.
  • Meet billability targets and communicate workload effectively.
  • Participate in brainstorms and ideate with the larger team.
  • Act as an example to junior team members, showing attention to detail and sharing experience.
  • Develop strong relationships within creative and across other cross-functional departments.
  • Flag and elevate problems in advance to appropriate leads and contribute ideas for solutions.
  • Volunteer to contribute to new business efforts.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in developing multichannel creative.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and design finesse.
  • Strategic acumen with the ability to clarify content-heavy work.
