The Asset Management Senior Analyst role at Dominion Energy is a pivotal position within the Asset Management Group, which oversees a substantial portfolio exceeding $20 billion. This role is integral to the operations and investment functions of the group, which includes managing Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans, Nuclear Decommissioning Trusts, and other associated funds. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining an operations function that supports the execution of multi-asset investment portfolios. This includes critical tasks such as cash management, trade execution, portfolio reconciliations, performance reporting, and compliance with audit and tax requirements. In this role, the Senior Analyst will maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including custodian banks, investment managers, fund administrators, and auditors. They will provide essential information for investment decisions and regulatory reporting, ensuring that the Asset Management Committee and SEC receive accurate and timely data. The analyst will also perform complex reconciliations for the group's trusts and portfolios, making independent decisions to enhance operational efficiencies. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as the analyst will serve as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, addressing inquiries with minimal supervision. Additionally, the role involves reporting and analyzing portfolio performance, completing fund subscription documents, and supporting quarterly reporting for the Asset Management Committee. The Senior Analyst will also mentor less experienced analysts, providing training and guidance as needed, and will lead complex ad hoc projects that arise within the group.
