About the position

The Senior Asset Manager at PNC's Midland organization plays a crucial role in overseeing complex asset portfolios and ensuring effective servicing of assets. This position involves monitoring performance indicators, reviewing borrower requests, and preparing recommendations for leadership. The role emphasizes customer focus, risk management, and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor key performance indicators, critical dates, and covenant performance of underwritten business plans.
  • Review complex borrower requests and develop recommendations for client approval.
  • Review and process customer requests related to the servicing of assets, monitor watch list assets, and transfer assets to special servicing area as needed.
  • Prepare and present cases for approval and make suitable recommendations to leadership.
  • Oversee portfolios and customer requests of high complexity and perform transaction analysis.
  • Review financial statements related to the asset, market, and economic data to determine economic and compliance impacts.
  • Interpret loan documents and servicing agreements, perform risk ratings, and create investor reports.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and update policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Engage in frequent communication with internal and external parties, including high touch customers and their representatives.

Requirements

  • University/college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong competencies in data gathering, decision making, effective communication, financial statement analysis, and problem solving.
