About the position

As a Senior Asset Manager within PNC's Tax Credit organization, you will play a crucial role in overseeing portfolios and managing customer requests of high complexity. This position involves performing detailed transaction analysis and reviewing customer requests related to the servicing of assets. You will monitor watch list assets and may transfer assets to the special servicing area as necessary. Your responsibilities will include preparing and presenting cases and approval memoranda for leadership, along with making suitable recommendations based on your findings. Additionally, you will be involved in reserve administration and may coordinate inspections and complete reports as required. In this role, you will review financial statements related to the assets, as well as market and economic data, to assess the economic and compliance impacts on asset operations. You will interpret loan documents and servicing agreements, perform risk ratings, create investor reports, and manage credit risk and compliance documentation. Identifying process improvement opportunities will be a key part of your responsibilities, and you may be tasked with creating and updating policies and procedures as necessary. Frequent communication, both verbal and written, with internal and external parties is essential. This may include high-touch customers and their representatives, outside counsel, agencies, special servicers, and investors. Your ability to manage relationships and effectively communicate will be vital to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Knowledge of asset management and financial accounting.
  • Strong decision-making and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and market risk.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in asset management or financial services are preferred.
  • Experience with investment management and revenue recognition.
