About the position

The Senior Asset Protection Manager at Lowe's is responsible for overseeing safety and asset protection programs across multiple stores. This role involves ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, addressing inventory shrink, and championing strategic asset protection plans to enhance safety and security outcomes. The position requires frequent travel between stores and entails working closely with the Store Operational Leadership team to deliver quality customer service and maintain a safe shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Help the Store Operational Leadership team ensure associates deliver friendly, professional, timely service to customers.
• Oversee trends and solutions to address inventory shrink across multiple stores.
• Champion strategic asset protection plans that improve safety and security outcomes.
• Ensure stores adhere to OSHA standards and support OSHA investigations.
• Train and coach associates on Asset Protection programs and monitor overall store safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 5 years of relevant work experience in retail or asset protection.
• 3 years of experience conducting retail investigations.
• 2 years of experience supervising employees, including coaching and training.
• 1 year of experience conducting quality reviews/audits.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• National certified training program (e.g., Wicklander-Zuwalski or Reed training).
• Professional accreditation (e.g., LPQ, LPC) or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in retail management influencing business leaders.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing business documents (e.g., P&L, exception reports).
• Experience using physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, EAS).
