About the position

Green Thumb is proudly on a mission to promote well-being through the power of cannabis. We are looking for a Senior Assistant General Manager, Inventory for our RISE Dispensary to drive inventory and operational excellence. You will assist the General Manager in leading and managing activities related to back of house operations including inventory operations, receiving operations, inventory integrity & cycle count, fulfilment operations, and inventory related functions such as delivery, and roll thru. The Senior Assistant General Manager role puts you on a fast-track to growth and is a developmental step to General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the execution of all dispensary operations to ensure the dispensary is compliant with security, inventory, and local and state regulations.
• Motivate team members to effectively execute programs, initiatives, and regionalized instore promotions.
• Oversee and manage quality product inventory, financial records, and Seed to Sale compliance.
• Maintain appropriate cash management, handling protocols and daily reconciliation.
• Manage effective order & expense management processes aligned with store budgets.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for retail operations programs and processes, primarily focused on retail inventory operations.
• Serve as a central point of contact to address operational inquiries, concerns, and providing guidance.
• Assist in resolving retail operational challenges and issues by leveraging the understanding of retail processes and procedures.
• Assist in delivering training programs for store teams on operational processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather feedback and identify process opportunities impacting customer experience, employee engagement and/or key sales and expense metrics.
• Using data to drive continuous improvement and process creation.
• May be assigned other duties and tasks not specifically outlined in this description.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or comparable business experience.
• At least three years of managing teams in a retail setting, preferably in back of house operations.
• Cannabis experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience required.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs.
• Must have reliable, responsible and dependable attendance.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must pass any and all required background checks.
• Must possess valid driver's license or state ID.
• Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb.
• Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
