About the position

The Senior Associate in Asset Liability Management & Interest Rate Risk is responsible for providing expertise in various financial processes, including asset-liability management, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk. This role involves implementing complex solutions to enhance balance sheet management and capital efficiency while managing interest rate risk and optimizing net interest income. The incumbent will also coach junior team members and conduct various financial analyses to support the company's monetary resource management.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in asset-liability management, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk.
• Implement complex solutions for balance sheet management and capital management priorities.
• Manage and analyze interest rate risk, including attribution analysis and hedging strategies.
• Ensure optimization of net interest income and risk mitigation strategies.
• Formulate and update policies and guidelines for managing the company's monetary resources.
• Conduct financial, variance, profitability, and liquidity analyses to improve capital efficiency.
• Execute established policies and procedures, including risk limits and reporting requirements.
• Coach junior team members to enhance their leadership skills and subject matter expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• 9+ years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services Industry or related field.
• Experience in managing financial risks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to make effective decisions on complex matters.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
