About the position

The Senior Associate Athletics Director for Finance & Administration/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Dartmouth College is a pivotal role responsible for providing strategic leadership for all financial and business operations within the Dartmouth College Athletics and Recreation Department (DCARD). This position is tasked with overseeing financial operations, budgetary planning, and fiscal management to align with the mission and goals of DCARD. The CFO will guide resource allocation to support departmental and divisional priorities, ensuring that financial objectives are met in collaboration with senior-level administrators both within DCARD and across the institution. The role requires a seasoned financial executive with a robust background in athletics administration, financial management, and compliance. The CFO will be expected to produce and analyze financial reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while also providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as this position will serve on DCARD's Leadership Team. Depending on the discretion of the Director of Athletics and Recreation, the CFO may also oversee varsity sport administration, adding another layer of responsibility to this critical role.

Responsibilities
