Senior Associate, Credit Risk

Responsibilities

• Evaluate counterparty credit equivalent exposure in non-standard trade positions using modeling techniques.
• Identify potential credit risks and assess impact, probability of occurrence, and timeframe.
• Analyze counterparty portfolio and cross-border risk data, events, and trends.
• Investigate various credit risk inquiries, proposals, and plans, and make recommendations to mitigate risk.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures by managing credit risk policy, setting standard definitions, and monitoring policy implementation.
• Monitor and manage risk/exposure and compliance with the company's policies.
• Identify, manage, and report on the company's risk areas.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of data and document retention, and monitor systems.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Predictive Analytics or Business Analytics.
• 2 years of experience in the position offered or a credit analyst or business analyst role.
• Experience conducting portfolio management including building automatic portfolio monitoring algorithms, timely flagging risks, and recommending solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (Transpose, Partition, CTE, Cursor).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot, VBA, V-lookup, Solver) and Power BI data visualization.
• Programming experience in SAS and R for modeling, data mining, and data visualization.
