As a Senior Associate Cybersecurity Analyst, you will conduct analysis and tracking for the remediation of application security vulnerabilities and secret violations findings. You'll play a key role managing and driving application security vulnerability remediation's and drive effective resolutions, continuously tracking and reporting on initiative progress. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving security issues, ensuring that all vulnerabilities are addressed in a timely manner and that best practices in secure application development are documented and communicated effectively to application teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, tracks and manages remediation of application security vulnerabilities and secrets violation findings.
  • Provides guidance on remediation of the vulnerabilities and escalates overdue completions as per the documented process.
  • Documents best practices on secure application development, management, and coaches the application teams on it.
  • Collaborates with business partners to track and report on initiative milestones and/or risk remediation efforts.
  • Ensures remediation solutions are validated, risks are fully mitigated, and open findings are resolved.
  • Assists in the preparation of department, committee, and board-level reports and presentation material.
  • Escalates to senior peers or management in order to satisfy target deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience in application security and vulnerability management.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and track remediation efforts.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to document processes and best practices effectively.
  • Experience in preparing reports and presentations for management.
