About the position

As a Senior Associate in Digital Product Management at American Express, you will play a pivotal role in the Digital Risk Products & Data Strategy (RPDS) team within the Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) Organization. This team is dedicated to driving profitable business growth by reducing credit and fraud risk while maintaining customer confidence in the security of digital products. You will be part of a dynamic environment where you will work with industry-leading talent to create innovative digital risk products that enhance market share and improve business operations. Your contributions will directly impact millions of customers and prospects, as you collaborate with various risk strategy partners, technology teams, and other Digital Product teams to develop next-generation solutions that address risk management needs using the latest tools and technologies. In this role, you will manage the implementation of risk products, focusing on global, reusable, and configurable design. You will be responsible for prioritization, rationalization/globalization, feature and user story development, rule authoring, testing, integration, and product launch using low-code tools. The position requires a customer-centered design approach and experience in developing software digital products or services in partnership with different business partners globally. Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of risk products and drive global, reusable, and configurable design.
• Prioritize and rationalize product features and user stories for development.
• Author rules, conduct testing, and oversee integration and product launch using low-code tools.
• Collaborate with multiple risk strategy partners and technology teams to build and iterate on digital products.
• Develop next-generation digital products and solutions to address risk management needs.

Requirements

• Customer-centered design approach and experience developing software digital products or services in partnership with different business partners globally.
• Experience in prototyping, iterative development, Scaled Agile Framework, and principles is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL, SAS, Java, Hive, Yellow Brick, or Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel.
• Graduate degree/equivalent degree in any relevant field OR Undergraduate degree in any relevant field and 1+ year of relevant work experience.

• Experience in Scaled Agile Framework and principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, SAS, Java, Hive, Yellow Brick, or Python.
