About the position

Cella is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Associate in Digital Tag Management for a hybrid contract opportunity in Chicago, IL. This role is crucial in supporting Owned and Paid Media by executing, implementing, and consulting on tagging strategies for digital marketing campaigns. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong understanding of digital marketing analytics, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations while innovating tagging strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and partner with Paid Media stakeholders to provide consultation and thought leadership on tagging strategies for various campaigns.
  • Ensure the placement and management of digital media tags within Tag Management platforms to support campaign performance.
  • Maintain governance and ensure adherence to best practices for tagging and media/ad operations procedures.
  • Perform quality control checks and document setups for campaign executions to ensure best-in-class performance.
  • Collaborate with business partners and technology teams to ensure tagged data is transformed into valuable datasets for decision-making.
  • Review and validate project documentation to ensure the quality of tagging and data deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with data collection, tag deployment, and user privacy regulations.
  • Provide scale to tagging management procedures and technology advancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in digital marketing/advertising.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in digital tag management or a similar role.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in digital ad operations, media and site tagging, marketing analytics, and digital campaign performance measurement.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, JIRA, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, Ad Servers, Demand Side Platforms (DSP), and Tag Management Platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and paid media measurement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in tag deployment, data collection methodologies, and media operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to improving campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
