About The Position
USA for UNHCR (U4U) is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Associate, Events and Program Visits. This is a new position that will play a critical role in enabling the newly formed Events team in fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key U4U supporter audiences, including major and mid-level donors, corporate, foundation and civil society partners, community engagement supporters and board members, with the goal of enhancing donor satisfaction, deepening their engagement, and driving long-term philanthropic support for refugees. Reporting to the Manager, Events & Program Visits, the Sr. Associate will support the Manager and fundraisers in planning, designing, and executing creative and engaging events aimed at deepening relationships and our donors' understanding of our mission and the impact of their support. The successful incumbent will collaboratively support the Manager, Events & Program Visits, to propose, plan, and execute comprehensive convenings that share gratitude and increase the retention of the most generous and committed supporters of U4U, including coordinating program visits for high-level supporters to see the impact of their support firsthand. They will be the project manager on many initiatives and meaningful touchpoints and support the Manager, Events & Program Visits, to provide reporting and tracking to Development leadership.
