KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice. This role involves identifying and documenting existing processes in support of defined process improvement initiatives. The Senior Associate will provide support through various process improvement methods such as mapping, analysis, reporting, and the use of data collection tools and techniques. Additionally, the role requires assessing the results of process improvement documentation and supporting change management-focused initiatives and workstreams for federal clients, leveraging industry expertise to address complex issues. The Senior Associate will also support teams in delivering transformation services, coaching and mentoring team members for high performance. Responsibilities include supporting policy projects from inception to conclusion, which encompasses planning, implementation, and assessment. The role also involves the development and execution of change management plans, including communications, training, impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and document existing processes in support of defined process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support through process improvement methods such as mapping, analysis, reporting, and use of data collection tools and techniques.
  • Assess the results of process improvement documentation.
  • Support change management-focused initiatives and workstreams for federal clients, leveraging industry expertise to address complex issues.
  • Support teams to deliver transformation delivery and supporting services, coaching and mentoring team members for high performance.
  • Support policy projects, including the planning, implementation, and assessment from inception to conclusion.
  • Support the development and execution of change management plans to include communications, training, impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience related to change management/policy.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience implementing process improvement and change initiatives.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements.
  • U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government TS/SCI + Poly security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in federal advisory services.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Previous experience in a consulting environment.
