About the position

The Senior Associate in the Federal Change Management team at KPMG will play a crucial role in guiding clients through change management strategies that align with their objectives. This position involves working closely with clients, including C-level executives, to define and execute change management projects, develop communication and training plans, and support stakeholder engagement. The role emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and a commitment to professional growth within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to conceptualize and determine change management strategies that support their goals/objectives; responsible for providing guidance to clients with up to C-level client interactions
  • Define and drive change management projects encompassing planning, execution, and assessment
  • Support development and execution of change management plans to include communications, training, impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement
  • Coordinate efforts across other engagement workstreams to understand change impacts and develop strategies to support stakeholder progression toward desired outcomes
  • Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities
  • Support the development and evolution of methodologies and intellectual capital including contributing to articles, whitepapers, and training efforts

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience related to change management (including communications, content development, training, stakeholder engagement, behavioral/cultural change)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Experience in business transformation projects including process improvement and change management
  • Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies, and leading practices
  • Ability to lead staff in conceptualizing change management strategies and developing high quality deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements
  • Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance
