About the position

The Senior Associate, Finance and Investment Analyst will play a crucial role in the Brightline West team, focusing on investment and capital markets transactions related to infrastructure and commercial real estate development. This position involves financial modeling, investor presentations, and research analytics, contributing to the company's ambitious plans for high-speed rail development and associated real estate projects.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of key workstreams associated with investment and capital markets transactions.
• Financial modeling and forecasting for public and private capital raising, valuation, and reporting.
• Understanding and abstracting financial documents such as term sheets and credit agreements.
• Creating and delivering compelling presentations to C-level executives and board members.
• Acting as a liaison between project execution teams and financial stakeholders.
• Identifying and structuring creative solutions to problems within assigned workstreams.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a bank or investment banking program.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, financial statements, and financial modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Confidence in interacting with senior business and finance leaders.
