About the position

The Senior Associate, Inclusive Growth at Palladium will play a crucial role in project management and business development within the Inclusive Growth and Natural Capital Practice. This position is designed for early career professionals who will support the startup, administration, and management of projects while contributing to the growth and impact of Palladium Americas. The role encompasses diverse technical areas including finance, market systems, agriculture, and climate change, requiring a blend of project management experience and technical curiosity.

Responsibilities

  • Support project delivery and business development initiatives across the practice.
  • Manage operational activities associated with the project life cycle.
  • Ensure clear communication between stakeholders in collaboration with the Manager and Project Director.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners and consultants for technical expertise.
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and monthly financial reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate recruitment and contracting of project staff and consultants.
  • Support mobilization and demobilization of international staff.
  • Contribute to the pursuit of new business opportunities and sector-specific research.

Requirements

  • Project management experience in international development.
  • Ability to learn and apply complex program procedures with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with culturally diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Financial acumen and ability to analyze financial reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in private sector-led economic development or agribusiness.
  • Experience with USAID or other donor-funded projects.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish, French, Portuguese, or Arabic.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $61,000 to $92,000 based on qualifications and experience.
  • Potential for additional variable incentive compensation.
