About the position

The Instructional Design Senior Associate is responsible for designing, developing, authoring, and maintaining training materials. This role involves collaboration with the Learning and Development (L&D) team and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create effective eLearning, blended, and instructor-led learning materials.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instructional design documents, eLearning storyboards, and participant materials for various learning formats.
  • Utilize authoring tools to create and publish web-based training modules and interactive eLearning courses.
  • Write learning objectives and content modules to ensure mastery of learning objectives.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision, meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Produce engaging and effective product designs and graphics to support learning content.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and L&D team members to maintain high-quality work products.
  • Test courseware and troubleshoot issues with SMEs/testers to ensure design integrity and adherence to deadlines.
  • Work with the LMS administration team to ensure course items are ready for user testing and functionality.
  • Identify and solve intermediate scope problems effectively.
  • Lead innovation efforts in product development to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain technical skills in instructional design and development software.
  • Assist in maintaining custom eLearning resources and data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience (4 years may substitute for degree).
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in instructional design principles and applications.
  • Expert proficiency in authoring and multimedia tools for eLearning courseware design.
  • Experience in a corporate or professional services environment designing and developing training courses.
  • Prior project work samples including online learning modules, facilitator guides, and online portfolios.
