About the position

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate in Integration Test Engineering to support the integration, troubleshooting, and testing of various Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, and Air Traffic Management systems on multiple aircraft platforms and within Systems Integration Labs. This role is critical in ensuring that the systems meet the mission-critical needs of our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing return to service on aircraft avionics systems, which requires a thorough understanding of various testing equipment and the ability to interpret technical documentation related to aircraft systems. The position requires a working knowledge of essential testing tools such as Pitot Static Testers, RF Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Time Domain Reflectometers, Multimeters, and Oscilloscopes. The candidate must be adept at reading aircraft wiring diagrams and following technical orders and maintenance manuals. Familiarity with FAA regulations, particularly concerning RVSM, Transponders, and Altimeter Recertification, is advantageous. The role may also involve working multiple shifts, including nights and weekends, on a periodic basis, and requires a willingness to travel up to 10 percent of the time. Candidates must possess a current U.S. Secret security clearance with no barriers to obtaining a TS/SCI level clearance. A Bachelor’s degree along with two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Additionally, an FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate is highly desired, and the ideal candidate should be able to pass a FAA Class III medical exam, as the role may involve flying for system testing.

Responsibilities

  • Support the integration, troubleshooting, and testing of various Communication, Navigation, Surveillance, and Air Traffic Management systems.
  • Perform return to service on aircraft avionics systems.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current U.S. Secret security clearance with no barriers to a TS/SCI level.
  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Working knowledge of testing equipment such as Pitot Static Testers, RF Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Time Domain Reflectometers, Multimeters, and Oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to read aircraft wiring diagrams and follow aircraft technical orders and maintenance manuals.

Nice-to-haves

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate is highly desired.
