About the position

The Senior Associate, Integration/Test Engineering position at L3Harris in Greenville, Texas, is a critical role responsible for supporting integration, test, and calibration activities on complex ground and airborne electronics systems across various programs. This position requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting systems and subsystems to the component level, ensuring that all operations adhere to applicable engineering documentation. The successful candidate will be involved in configuring and preparing Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and subsystem components for both single and multi-thread interface operations. Key responsibilities include conducting subsystem pre-operational checks, performing LAN and fiber optic harness assembly testing, and executing length, phase matching, and anomaly testing of RF harness assembly subsets. The role also involves loading aircraft Group B LRUs, amplifiers, and circuit cards, with the physical requirement of lifting up to 50 lbs. Additionally, the candidate will create and update Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to track and report on testing activities. The position requires identifying subsystem LRU failures and taking appropriate troubleshooting actions, as well as recommending repair or corrective actions for hardware, software, and firmware anomalies. The candidate will support EMI/Tempest testing of various airborne subsystems and assist in software and hardware development integration activities. Pre-flight activities to ensure system and subsystem flight readiness are also part of the role. The candidate will frequently interface with various functional organizations and customers, both local and offsite, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. The use of various test equipment, including LAN test devices, network analyzers, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers, is essential for performing subsystem and system-level troubleshooting and testing functions. The role may also involve the preparation and review of engineering documents and advising on design changes to enhance operational capability and reduce costs.
