About the position

The Senior Associate, Integration Test / Engineering role at L3Harris involves supporting integration, testing, and calibration activities on complex Communication and Datalink systems within a dynamic environment, specifically on various RC-135 platforms. The position requires a strong focus on ensuring system readiness and troubleshooting, while collaborating with multiple functional organizations to enhance operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support integration, test, and calibration activities on complex Communication and Datalink systems.
  • Perform subsystem pre-operational checks according to engineering documentation.
  • Configure and prepare LRUs and subsystem components for operation.
  • Execute subsystem and system level Ground Test Plans.
  • Conduct insertion loss testing of RF harness assemblies per engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot systems and subsystems to the component level.
  • Identify subsystem LRU failures and take appropriate troubleshooting actions.
  • Identify hardware, software, and firmware anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support EMI/Tempest testing of airborne subsystems.
  • Assist in software and hardware development integration activities.
  • Conduct aircraft pre-flight activities to ensure flight readiness.
  • Utilize various test equipment for troubleshooting and testing functions.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience maintaining SIGINT/COMINT mission/communications systems aboard U.S. military airborne and/or ground-based platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is desired, or equivalent military training and experience.
  • Familiarity with industry standard test equipment and COTS hardware.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency with Windows-based programs and COTS software applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOD Secret Security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOD Top Secret Security clearance with SCI.
