About the position

This position is responsible for managing Omnichannel Marketing for strategic customers, partnering with the Sales organization to drive growth through effective shopper marketing and media strategies. The role involves building relationships with key retailers and ensuring that marketing efforts align with broader brand and channel strategies to maximize demand both in-store and online.

Responsibilities

  • Plan strategy that supports sales plan and brand strategy for retail media.
  • Execute campaigns for retail media and in-store marketing.
  • Develop search strategy and execution for digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to implement marketing strategies.
  • Work with internal teams to create and optimize creative assets such as videos and banners.
  • Analyze campaign performance using methodologies like MMM.
  • Review new tactics and capabilities of retailers to enhance overall strategy.
  • Manage agency relationships by briefing and defining goals for retail media campaigns.
  • Plan and execute in-store sampling and marketing programs.
  • Act as a liaison between brand/sales and content teams to drive effective content strategies.
  • Conduct analysis of organic search opportunities and digital tactics.
  • Maintain key retailer relationships and conduct regular touchpoints for strategy and execution discussions.
  • Gather insights on category and retailer performance to share with stakeholders.
  • Report on sales performance to ensure demand is being driven effectively.
  • Manage budget ownership and ensure alignment with brand team commitments.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing a digital/eCommerce business, preferably in CPG.
  • BA/BS in business, marketing, or a comparable field; MBA preferred but not required.
  • Digital commerce agency experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of SEO, digital merchandising, and digital marketing is required.
  • Strong business judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritize high-impact initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to translate insights into effective marketing and merchandising recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact at all levels.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing relationships with major retailers like Amazon, Kroger, Target, and Walmart.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools and methodologies for performance measurement.
