About the position

As a Senior Product Delivery Associate specializing in Automation Testing at JPMorgan Chase, you will be responsible for building and maintaining an in-house Test Automation Framework within the Credit Card Line of business. This role involves creating testing scenarios for Automated Functional Testing, End to End, and Regression, as well as developing automation test scripts to validate application functionality. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, participate in Agile practices, and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an in-house Test Automation Framework.
• Create testing scenarios for Automated Functional Testing, End to End, and Regression.
• Design and develop automation test scripts for application functionality validation.
• Utilize market best practices to create tests.
• Perform tests to improve application quality.
• Provide estimates for user stories using planning poker.
• Participate in product backlog prioritization, story mapping, and story splitting activities.
• Prepare and participate in sprint review meetings showcasing completed product backlog items to the product owner.
• Develop and implement best practices across the project team for continuous process improvement.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, Operations, and Technology partners both face to face and virtually.
• Create the end-to-end test automation suite for existing workflows.
• Aid in training developers and Product Owners to create and modify new test cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, specifically in Selenium and Cucumber.
• Deep understanding of web applications including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of Java and programming.
• Experience with open-source test automation tools.
• Experience in applying Business Driven Development techniques (jUnit, Fitnesse, Selenium, Cucumber or similar tools).
• Experience in Continuous Integration and Deployment practices and tools (Jenkins or equivalent, Maven, Git).
• Experience working in Agile teams and creating test strategies and scenarios.
• Experience working on Unix.
• Passionate about testing strategy, problem solving, and learning new skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a financial services environment with knowledge of Credit Cards.
• Experience in application testing and monitoring frameworks (jMeter, AppDynamics, Geneos, Fitnesse, PhantomJS).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
