About the position

As a Senior Associate, Production Support Development Manager at New York Life, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the productivity of our agents through specialized support and training. This position is fully remote, allowing you to connect with agents across various locations while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. You will be responsible for providing dedicated virtual support to targeted focus agents, aiming to increase their productivity and help them achieve Proactive Agent Base (PAB) status by the end of the year. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting individual instruction and drills, utilizing Growth Development Coaching, and identifying opportunities within agents' books of business. In this role, you will track and measure agent activity using Sales Central, support prospecting efforts, and ensure the effective adoption of tools such as GuideMe and NYLIC University. You will coordinate with the GO management team to align efforts in agent development and drive productivity initiatives. A strong understanding of New York Life's key technology areas, including Dashboard 2.0 and the New Org Retention Tool, will be essential for your success. You will also be responsible for implementing the Field Development System (FDS) effectively, conducting coaching discussions, and supporting monthly and annual planning meetings. Your ability to channel and promote sales initiatives will be vital in developing a solid knowledge base of NYLIC products and effectively training agents in prospecting techniques. The role requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset, as you will lead development conversations with agents and partners, facilitating group training sessions and providing motivational support. Your contributions will directly impact the financial security of individuals and the overall growth of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated virtual support to targeted focus agents to increase productivity and achieve PAB status.
  • Conduct individual instruction and drills to enhance agents' knowledge and skills.
  • Utilize Growth Development Coaching to support agents' development.
  • Identify opportunities within agents' books of business to drive productivity.
  • Track and measure agent activity using Sales Central.
  • Support prospecting efforts for targeted agents.
  • Ensure effective adoption of GuideMe and NYLIC University tools.
  • Coordinate with GO management team to align agent development efforts.
  • Implement and execute the Field Development System (FDS) effectively with target agents.
  • Promote sales initiatives and incentives with agents and management teams.
  • Train agents on prospecting techniques and effective use of technology in a virtual environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • CLU and ChFC Designations preferred.
  • Two-time Council qualifier with a solid Life Case Rate or previous PF3 experience (specific to internal applicants).
  • Valid State Life and Health Licenses.
  • FINRA Registrations - Series 6 & 63.
