About the position

Generation Bio is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to join the Immunology team within the Discovery Research group. This position is pivotal in evaluating our innovative cell-targeted lipid nanoparticle (ctLNP) delivery platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing in vitro assays that assess the interaction of ctLNPs with immune cells. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cell-based assays, including but not limited to immune assays and ELISAs, and will have experience in isolating and maintaining primary immune cells such as T cells, B cells, and hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). Familiarity with flow cytometry techniques is considered a valuable asset. In this role, the Senior Associate Scientist will execute and analyze established high-throughput plate-based cellular assays utilizing techniques such as flow cytometry and ELISA. The position also involves performing tissue culture work and maintaining various cell culture lines. Collaboration with other scientists to execute and develop cell-based assays is essential, as is the ability to work independently to analyze, interpret, and present data effectively. The candidate will be expected to summarize their work in both written reports and oral presentations, contributing to the overall success of the research team.
