About the position

The Senior Associate role at Pfizer focuses on enhancing the oversight of clinical data through improved ownership, control, and visibility. This position is integral in processing, reviewing, and managing clinical data and records from various therapeutic groups and investigators, ensuring that accurate and timely data is delivered to clinical teams. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop data capture solutions that meet quality standards and support the integrity of study data.

Responsibilities

  • Process, review, and manage clinical data and records from therapeutic groups and investigators.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent data delivery to clinical teams.
  • Develop data management plans, including data preparation and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with department roles and cross-functional study team members to create data capture solutions.
  • Comply with applicable SOPs and work practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technologies.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional technical initiatives in collaboration with Pfizer Digital and other teams.
  • Support knowledge development of data capture tools and methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or Regulatory Agency with an emphasis on building data collection and assimilation solutions.
  • Technical skills and experience using relational databases, specifically Medidata Rave.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Understanding of drug development processes and data operations for clinical trial data reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards; CDISC knowledge is preferable.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, influencing, negotiation, and project management skills.
