About the position

The Senior Associate position at Pfizer focuses on enhancing the oversight of clinical data through improved ownership, control, and visibility. This role is crucial in processing, reviewing, and managing clinical data and records from various therapeutic groups and investigators, ensuring that accurate and timely data reaches clinical teams. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to create data capture solutions and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

  • Process, review, and manage clinical data and records from therapeutic groups and investigators.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent data delivery to clinical teams.
  • Develop data management plans, including data preparation and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with department roles and cross-functional study team members to create data capture solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technologies related to data capture.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional technical initiatives in collaboration with Pfizer Digital and other teams.
  • Support knowledge development of data capture tools and methods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Life Science, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, or Regulatory Agency.
  • Technical skills and experience using relational databases, specifically Medidata Rave.
  • Experience with Oracle InForm, Oracle DMW, MS SQL Server, or MS Access.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Understanding of the drug development process and data operations for clinical trial reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards, preferably CDISC.
