About the position

The Senior Associate, Systems Engineer at L3Harris is responsible for performing operational analysis, developing concept of operations, and creating design and implementation plans. This role involves conducting tests, documenting results, and analyzing system requirements to support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures. The position requires collaboration with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment focused on national security and technological advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans
• Develop test plans, procedures & cases
• Conduct tests and document results
• Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
• Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users
• Support development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• GPA of 3.0 or greater

Nice-to-haves

• Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering
• Familiar with Rhapsody
