About the position

The Senior Associate, Tax role at Peloton involves supporting the in-house tax team with a focus on US indirect tax compliance and planning. The position requires a skilled tax professional to ensure timely compliance, mitigate tax risks, and maximize tax opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in US indirect tax compliance, particularly in sales and use tax, and will be responsible for preparing various tax filings and supporting audit defense efforts.

Responsibilities

• Support timely and accurate filings for US sales and use tax compliance.
• Assist with day-to-day responsibilities of the tax team, including reconciliation workstreams and planning projects.
• Prepare and review filings such as property tax, business tax, and gross receipts compliance forms.
• Assist with audit defense related to US indirect state and local tax audits.
• Maintain relationships across multiple functions including Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and Strategy.

Requirements

• 3+ years working on an in-house corporate tax team or at a reputable tax advisory firm.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• CPA (earned or in progress).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to prepare indirect tax compliance forms.
• Familiarity with indirect tax laws and state/local developments.
