About the position

The Senior Associate, Technology Product Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical specifications. This position involves collaborating with various teams, including Product Managers, Engineering, and User Experience, to ensure the successful development and integration of high-quality products. The analyst is responsible for documenting product requirements, defining acceptance criteria, and acting as the product owner for Scrum teams, ensuring that the final products meet both business needs and user expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze high-level business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for the Engineering team.
  • Collaborate with business unit Product Managers, Engineering, Architects, User Experience (UX), and cross-functional counterparts to develop detailed requirements.
  • Document product requirements, business rules and logic, and define acceptance criteria.
  • Resolve product questions and drive requirement clarity.
  • Act as the product owner for the Scrum teams which drive project execution.
  • Work with the Product Design team to understand product feasibility and features.
  • Ensure that delivered systems are properly tested and meet product requirements in collaboration with the Quality Assurance team.
  • Align development with business needs by working with the Technical team.
  • Participate in planning individual product features and their development lifecycles.
  • Research and identify best practices from business and product perspectives.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Computer Science plus three years of experience in technology product management, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields with five years of experience.
  • Experience performing database schema analysis for insurance products applying HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR standards.
  • Experience assessing and recommending data and security controls on PEGA and Salesforce platforms during product development.
  • Experience developing technical insurance product specifications and UI/UX requirements using FIGMA, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure software product quality and seamless integration of new features.
  • Experience visualizing data and creating reports using Adobe Analytics and Tableau.
